AURORA SPIRITIST CULTURE MAGAZINE

We are a family owned and operated business.

Brief history:

The magazine was created to replace the Activity Report of the Cairbar Schutel Spiritist Association of Duque de Caxias, State of Rio de Janeiro, a very well prepared booklet by Ademar Duarte Constant, which served to account for the Entity's annual activities. The speakers who frequented our house, many: Deolindo Amorim, Carlos Imbassay, General Molinaro, General Milton O'Relley, Pereira Guedes, Cel. Gotardo de Miranda, Jorge Andrea and others, suggested that the Activity Report should become a magazine, which was done and the first edition circulated on March 9, 1979, for 40 years we did not interrupt the print runs, but in the year 2020 , as the advertising contained therein raises the very high cost of printing, we had to stop printing it and transform it into a Digital Magazine until things, especially the economy, return to normal, because the pandemic. All articles (gems) from the 140 editions will be scanned and posted on the site, as the times
present demands this modernity procedure. The magazine pays homage to countries, states and themes related to Spiritism on its covers.

Below the magazine's 1st Editorial, written by journalist Ademar Duarte Constant.

“After all, we give, as promised, the magazine that became our Activity Report after 12 years of consecutive editions.

Our publication inserts, as it could not fail to do so. The Annual Report of the Cairbar Schutel Spiritist Association, according to which everything is done now and in the future, with naturally broader and nobler charges, to disclose the municipality of Duque de Caxias, the state of Rio de Janeiro to which it belongs and the country .

Now more than before, we need the support, sympathy and cooperation of those who wish, like us, to serve this land, as it is a serious and arduous task.

It is important for us to disseminate the Doctrine of Spirits codified by Allan Kardec, but it is also the sampling of the city that we are helping to build, organize and project for the future, thus making our participation, even if modest, in this trajectory more eloquent. historical.

Aurora will be, for now, a Duque de Caxias yearbook, but our thoughts turn to a more frequent periodicity, which shows in a quarter, bimonthly or month, when the material possibilities allow, the life and progress of this city.

We leave here sincere thanks to the commerce and industry that helped us and entrusted their ads, to our population, as well as to the municipal authorities who participated in our pages with history and achievements. ”
